Re: My deep secret

I want to mention that no one is in charge of your health and nutrition except you. So you should tailor-make what you do for your health according to your own specific needs and worries and condition. Re: Smoothies? All in one shakes?

Why pay for stuff like this when you can make a better one tailor made for you by yourself? You can put what you want in it. Probably not a good idea to be lazy and just buy it, especially since we're all into a not-one-size-for-all philosophy here.

Re: Feeling intimidated: Q's re: diet & inflammation markers

I wanted to add that most of the time you may be making most of the food decisions for them, at least cooking for them and serving them. So it's easy to select the items on the Bredesen protocol without them knowing it's part of a system to prevent or reverse AD or dementia.

Re: Feeling intimidated: Q's re: diet & inflammation markers

For DistinguishedHeathen: I don't know if this will help but for the last year we have been taking care of my mother in law who is 90. She, like other older people fear they are going into dementia or worse even though they are not showing the definite signs of AD. Until I learned about the Bredesen...

Re: RECODE Core Kit

The Cholesterol article on Wiki that Jenny B referenced speaks positively about statins. There is a lot of information out there about the damage that statins can cause yet most doctors routinely prescribe them like they're candy. Just thought I'd mention it.

On Salmonella and Mycotoxins

Awhile ago I answered an old thread as I was plowing through the whole site and mentioned something that might be of interest to everybody here. In one of my past lives I worked for a company called Neogen in Michigan as their Latin American Sales Manager. At the time, twenty years ago, they were fo...

Re: No Alzheimers in El Salvador

If you could do a bit of editing for me. On the Salvadoran diet, 'various soups...' should be on the American side. Same with Soda pop in the dinner section. They don't drink much pop there. Thanks.

Sorry, the two diets got mushed together. You'll have to separate them.
