Re: Cost of Bredesen Protocol Supplements
Not to be too practical about it, but I have a mundane question: given that my wife has been diagnosed by her physician with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and given that Dr. Bredesen has prescribed (in his book "The End of Alzheimer's") specific herbs, vitamins, and supplements for trea...

Need practitioner who can administer MoCA
Hello
Can MoCA be administered remotely? If so, can I use one of the practitioners in the Practitioner Reviews forum?
Thank you

Re: Keto Diet and Cholesterol 4/4
I only just purchased a blood glucose monitor yesterday. I don’t know yet what my levels should be or when to measure... still learning.circular wrote: Have you tried excercising before eating oatmeal to see if your blood sugar respose is modified favorably?

Re: Newbie asking about reCODE
Thanks for the reply! I meant to write preCODE, not reCODE... I am aware of the differences. The value of any of these options is indeed a personal one -- how important is it to you and what value do you place on brain health? It's a question we all wrestle with when deciding what is the right appro...

Re: Keto Diet and Cholesterol 4/4
Hi Dan,
Can you give examples? I used to eat oatmeal every morning (good for heart and cholesterol), but stopped since it's high in carbs. I genuinely miss it. What kind of grains do you consume?whole grains

Re: Testing for APOE4 that's not 23andMe
I also used 23andMe with a pseudonym. I went a little overboard and rented a mailbox at a local UPS store, too. I had them ship the kit there. Used a new email address and VPN when I connected to their site. I paid with a prepaid Visa card (the non-reloadable kind). These kits are given as gifts all...

PreCODE: is it worth $850?
Hi, Opinions on whether PreCODE is worth $850 (annual fee + labs) for someone who has no signs of cognitive decline? Seems like a lot of the info provided by PreCODE can be obtained elsewhere, except for the "Personalized PreCODE report" (not sure what that includes -- they don't provide a...

Newbie asking about reCODE
Hi everyone! I just joined and hope to become a contributing member. I am 51. I do not yet know if I am ApoE4 positive, but want to stay cognitively healthy anyway. I am currently reading Dr. Bredesen's book, working on a ketogenic diet, and just sent away the 23andMe kit. I've been looking closely ...
