Stubborn Fasting Glucose
Me too. Have you considered the “dawn effect”? Measure your glucose before going to bed, assuming you haven’t eaten/drank in 3 hours. That might give you insights about sleep contributions too. Hello, Has anyone else had a hard time getting their fasting glucose to drop into optimal ranges? Anyway, ...

Re: Deep Sleep 4/4
still trying to dial in what the problem is.... I would suggest reading the book by Dr. Walker: Why We Sleep (Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams). He has been interviewed by Dr. Peter Attia (multiple times) and Dr. Rhonda Patrick if you prefer to hear a more Q&A approach. https://www.youtu...

Re: Deep Sleep 4/4
Hi Gino, I would suggest that you look at your exercise. I find that the more active I am, the more deep sleep I get. Let us know how that goes.jginorio wrote:Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Summary of Massachusetts General Hospital’s Multicultural Alzheimer’s Prevention Program ApoE Symposium
Thank you, Fiver. Good stuff. Do we know what drug was used in the section quoted below? Chris Apoe4 also causes injury to the protective blood-brain-barrier, even in younger individuals and those without obvious amyloid accumulations. Axel Mantagne (University of Edinburgh) shared his work on the c...

Re: Covid vaccine safety for 4/4’s?
Here's an article that quotes Dr. Offit (Pete Attitia interviewed him) on false claims about the COVID-19 vaccine. It has references. https://www.factcheck.org/2021/01/viral-video-makes-false-and-unsupported-claims-about-vaccines/ All of my reading indicates that the risk of not taking the vaccine f...

Re: Blood Pressure Treatment Drastically Reduces Alzheimer’s Incidence
What wasn't clear to me in reading Peter Attia's analysis email or the paper was whether it was the people who had SNPs that lead to lower LDL-C or was it the people who had low LDL-C who were less likely to have cardiovascular disease. In the first case, it seems immaterial what my actual LDL-C is ...
