Re: RE: Re: Discount for high polyphenol EVOO
I don't think this oil is that "bitey." I enjoy it. Sharon was great to work with and did a super job packing the case (6 bottles in a box, two boxes). Lol... she really knows how to package, I have first hand experience! Make sure you have boxcutters. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

Re: Strawberries and 34% lower risk of AD in Rush Memory Cohort
I think this forum in particular should do better to answer this concern. And I think this forum is doing a wonderful job already by providing an opportunity for all to share their experiences. Dr. Gundy has satisfied patients and non-patient adherents as well as skeptics and naysayers. In my opini...

Re: APOE 4/4 Specific diet - Dr. Gundry or not?
So what is it, does this forum support his Diet approach for 4/4's with empirical evidence or is it more blind faith? I don't think a consensus regarding the scope of applicability of Dr. Gundry's protocol exists here. That said, I haven't seen much in the way of "blind faith". I think th...

Re: Apoe 4/4 and high triglycerides
Even with that I have never had high triglycerides and that may be because I am active and not obese which can also cause triglycerides to be high. CindiRN, In my case I've never been obese, I'm 5'7" and weighed ~150lbs when I was tested, and was very active. That was almost 20 years ago when ...

Re: Apoe 4/4 and high triglycerides
Thanks for your feedback everyone. Matisse-I was on prescription fish oil pill (Lovaza) 4 times a day with minimal impact on my triglycerides :( The lowest triglyceride reading I have ever had was 600 something but they said that could be because the machine couldn't read higher than that. I have n...

Re: How do you put on weight?
I agree with BrianR, as I was in your boat. Don't restrict calories, eat more good proteins (fish, chicken, nuts, etc.). Add some resistant starches like Basmati rice (soak for 30 min. in water before you cook to remove starch, cool and reheat), sweet potato's (Cook/Cool/Reheat). In addition I've al...

Brain,
As a person who watched his father in-law slowly fade away, providing part time care giving and ultimately hospice until he passed during Thanksgiving 4 years ago, I can feel your pain. It just makes what we do here more precious.
Hugs
