Fasting concerns

Hi Folks, The intermittent fasting has been a bit of a challenge for me but I'm getting better at it. Now going 14 hours is no problem at all. I went 16 hours today and 18 hours one day last week. My understanding is that a benefit of fasting is to increase ketone levels. I'm using the "Keto-Mo...

Donation problem

Hi, I'd like to make a donation but the donation program won't let me. I tried making it with my credit card but the program seemed to demand that I list my Paypal PW to "create an account". I did that but then I got the message that my email was already related to a different Paypal PW wh...

I want to get an idea of my oxygen levels while I'm asleep. Is/are there oxygen monitors that have been found effective and useful?

Thanks,

Re: Fasting Issues

I've started eating an earlier dinner so that I could go 12 hours fasting even on work days. I've also been going 14+ hour fasting on my days off (3-4 days/week). I took my fasting blood sugar this morning with the "Keto Mojo" device. It was 76 (maybe a bit too low). Probably not as accura...

Montreal Cognitive Assessment Score

Does anyone have good way to access the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test? I tried the link provided in The End of Alzheimer's book but it didn't work and I haven't been able to find access on the internet so far.

Thanks,

Jim

Re: Fasting Issues

BTW, it never occurred to me that I could gradually increase my fasting time by 5 minutes. Definitely doable!

Re: Fasting Issues

Thanks for your response Julie! I'm kind of borderline for blood sugar indicators. Fasting glucose 90, insulin 5.8 and HbA1c 5.2. Obviously fasting insulin is the highest indicator of problems. I don't eat sugar or high carbohydrate foods......but I have, recently, been eating more fruit, including ...
