Re: Celebration Thread! Homotaurine/Tramiprosate supplement

J11, I looked further down on their website and found additional information about their Homotaurine supplement: "Homotaurine, or 3-amino-1-propanesulfonic acid, is a natural-source organic compound found in certain seaweeds. Though chemically similar to taurine, with only one additional carbon...

Re: Celebration Thread! Homotaurine/Tramiprosate supplement

Hi J11, Thank you so much for posting the research on Homotaurine! I've been thinking about it for the last few days, and googling to find out whether it is synthetic or natural. I can't find very much. Supersmart Homotaurine does not list it's active ingredients nor provide testing results for heav...

Re: Einkorn Sprouted Wheat

Hi MicheleCC, I been eating Einkorn berries for breakfast (soaked overnight) and also grinding the berries for fresh flour. It was a real challenge at first backing with Einkorn. It doesn't absorb liquid as well a modern wheat, and it doesn't rise as high (lower gluten content). I can know make deli...

Re: Tulsi - ocimum sanctum - ameliorates memory loss in fish and rodents

It's easy to grow, and it's one of the last plants to die down in the fall. The more cuttings you take the more it gives back. Plus, it smells really good!

Re: Tulsi - ocimum sanctum - ameliorates memory loss in fish and rodents

Thank you, Fitfoodie for the links to tulsi! I'm a big fan of tulsi. I grow it in the spring to make fresh infusions and teas all summer and fall. I dehydrate enough to last through winter. It is one of my favorite plant allies. A few years back, I was drinking a tulsi infusion with a friend over a ...

Celery Seed decreases tau phosphorylation within brain cells

I haven't posted in quite a long time. However, I continue to follow the discussions here. I recently came across an article about celery seed extract L-3-n-butylphthalide reduces tau phosphorylation and improves cognitive deficits in AβPP/PS1-Alzheimer's transgenic mice . "In mice the expressi...

Re: For My Fellow EVOO Epicurians

Hi All, I'd like to share with you two CA organic olive oil producers. Apollo olive oil looks very good...high phenol levels. I don't think they have been mentioned on this forum. Their web site is informative. http://www.apollooliveoil.com/organic-extra-virgin/index.php/our-story/ And a second comp...
