Re: Hearing loss and cognitive decline

Thanks for the NIH article. It's hard to believe that I finished my dissertation for my PhD over 10 years ago. It was about Health and Safety in an Aging Workforce and included domains where changes occur that can be improved in the workplace and home. This reminds me that cognition and hearing and ...

Re: New member

It sounds like you're doing a great job! As a nurse I totally understand how difficult it is to be a patient, try to learn new things, and be shut down by your doctor. I hope you continue to develop a rapport with this one!

Re: Paleo guide online

I agree with you Floramaria. The diet choices you and Orangeblossom are listing sound fine to me. I have heard that there seems to be different definitions of paleo out there. Some research in her statements is a great idea!

Re: Introduction

Welcome to this site! It is full of great information. The End of Alzheimer's book is really turning some heads. One of my co-workers bought it and her mom borrowed and read it. It goes against everything their doctor has told them - statins are good, low fat is good, etc. Since her dad is slipping ...

Re: Sauna - near infra red

I don't have experience with the sauna but my vet used red light therapy on my dog when she had knee surgery. The healing time was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to hear more about it either!
