Re: Cleveland Heart Lab Panel Questions

A few months ago, I got the Cleveland Heart Lab basic panel and there were a couple of labs that were out of range. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, I still haven't been able to speak with my doctor about my labs. So I am wondering if anyone knows whether to worry and/or what to do about these two...

Re: High Homocysteine Possible Deficiencies

Plumster, Per my current state of knowledge, it sounds you have insufficiency in converting methionine down to homocysteine. Have you ever done an Amino Acid test? Do you know your methionine status? Based on provided info, I think you may benefit from: - methyl donors (betaine, SAMe) and Magnesium...

Re: High Homocysteine Possible Deficiencies

Magda, Thank you! It is indeed very helpful. I've been puzzled that my homocysteine could be so low, at 5.5 (!), and my B6 and folate normal, B12 very high, and yet my MMA high. I was under the impression that low/normal homocysteine meant that you were not deficient in B12. Good to know, I'll keep...

Markers like FIGLU and Methylmalonate are very specific. High FIGLU in the urine...

Re: How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor

Hello - I’ve been going in circles with Dr. Bredesen’s folks regarding a ReCODE trained MD in Los Angeles. They have informed me there’s an MD in LA who accepts medical insurance (!) however they will not share that person’s name with me. I’ve been able to get Dr. Bredesen’s staff to answer whether...

Re: Help! I'm going under

CHOCOLATE! Hi there. I am brand new on the forum and found this thread looking for Omega 3 info for vegans. I, too, have lost quite a bit of weight but my genetics predispose me to obesity. While my top weight has been 153 lbs, that's not too dramatic a "fat" look on my 5'4"s, though...
