Ah, thank you! I really appreciate the comments. I have a sublingual b12 supplement as well.... I dont drink milk, there is very littie dairy in my diet, actually. Opinions on this Vitamin formulation?

Greetings! I am trying to cut down on the number of pills, imagine that! Briefly I am 4/4, 59, fairly active, with no symptoms of anything much to speak of. Before all of this apoe information, I was managing some anxiety with PS100 and magnesium threonate, and that seems to be working, I havent bee...

Re: Lost in the rabbit hole -- want a reality check.

I love this post. But it's not helpful to pretend that the purpose of life is to avoid Alzheimer's exactly. This is the most important thing I have read on the boards this week. Lets all think about our purposes. Mine is to live my life with joy and passion, do my best, strive for excellence, but ha...

Re: Sleep!

I have had years of hard time staying asleep; mostly once I wake up the brain goes on overdrive and I cant sleep until I have solved all the worlds problems. But now, the world must fend for itself. I am not sure which of these things has put me in the sweet spot, but imagine it is a combination. I ...

Yes, this is my worry too....I pretty much only use olive oil, or coconut if it goes with what I am fixing.. Dr. Gundry has observed that coconut oil will spike Tg's & lipids in E4's. We asked him about MCT oil in our latest consult a week ago. T: Okay. And have you concluded about MCT Oil, is ...

Re: Blood Work....In Spanish but easy to read...

Hello all! I am preparing to get another round of bloodwork in a month or so. What stands out for me is your triglycerides are too high and HDL too low. Maybe ditch the fruit and any processed carbs, moderate, but don't eliminate starchy carbs, eat protein, even fish fairly sparingly, add some oliv...

Thanks for sharing vermillion. I'm proud of you for doing baseline testing. It would be great to have a fasting glucose, insulin and hbA1c, vitamin D, and homocysteine for your next round of testing. To the extent that lipids matter and I suspect that they do with multiple sources finding correlati...

Re: an E4/E4 brain CAN recover

You are amazing! And quite the success story. As you know, this has been an adjustment for me. My 4/4-status-discovery-funk was further enhanced by finding out about the "secret" dementia in my grandparents. Arg. Add that to the fact that I have had 3 concussions, 1 with 48-72 hours of am...
