Re: Lexapro - sleep - increased HBA1c
I was able to drop down to 5 mg Lexapro about 6 months into starting the med 1 1/2 yrs ago. Your wife could try that if you're concerned...at the direction of her Dr of course, and me personally, I did a long 7.5 mg step down (1 pill one day, 1/2 pill the next). I felt my runaway anxiety was by FAR ...

Re: Intro & lipid panel question
I am aware that I am biased towards this interpretation of cholesterol at least partly because it makes my life easier if I don’t have to worry about my high cholesterol! I hear you. There's already so much to worry about, and this seems like something that might be worth letting go of. My doctor g...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.mind&hl=en_US&gl=US Would this suffice, when on Productivity setting (40Hz)? Doesn't work with the the Dark Side though, only Android... I think the audio is probably good, but I've read that phones, tablets, laptops all have diff...

hmmm I also drink a ton more coffee since covid lockdowns, another possible culprit. (23andme noted I have a gene for not getting jittery from OD'ing on caffeine, and that's true haha.)

Intro & lipid panel question
Hi, I've been lurking here for years and figure it's time for an intro. I'm 46 years old and a mom of three. I work from home (even pre-covid) as a writer/editor. I love food and exercise, see the username :-) and I've always had high-ish cholesterol. I eat a lot of vegetables and am on the skinny s...

40 hz gamma light and sound therapy
I'm curious if anyone has tried 40hz light and sound therapy, on themselves or a loved one. Here's the background. Gamma brain waves generated by this light and sound stimulation trigger the cleanup of brain detritus and improve memory. https://www.pnas.org/content/117/31/18142 Here's info on the cu...

Thank you so much for the information about this olive oil. My order arrived today. Indeed, very well packed I've tasted the Coratina so far and love it. I also got the Favolosa oil, and a white balsamic.Julie G wrote:Lol, agree. Unpacking a Sharon-packed box counts as exercise.

Re: Baths linked with lower CVD and stroke risk
I tend to read in the tub, which does take me out of my head. I'll give it a try, though, because I'd like to be able to meditate.circular wrote: Question for ya: Are you able to meditate in the bath? Both come naturally to me, just curious if you've tried using the bath as a doorway to meditation for you.
