Re: Too much protein??

Thanks, all. I’m relieved to have your support. Dr. Gundry ‘s belief that 2 oz. of protein day is optimal was distressing.

Re: Too much protein??

Thanks, Nancy. I think I will hang in there, then, at my current protein intake. Unless someone points out a good reason to lower it.

My GFR is 101, wHich seems to be at a safe place.

Too much protein??

In his book, Dr. Bredesen recommends 1 g of protein for each kilogram of body weight. For me, that would be under 60 g of protein a day. However, for roughly the last 25 years, I have been eating around 100 g of protein a day, between whey protein shakes and animal protein. I do eat a lot of vegetab...

Thanks, both of you . Regular coffee gets me to the gym at 5 a.m. Mushroom coffee helps me work! Will look into your other coffees, apod.

Re: A couple interesting mushroom products for a light BDNF / immune boost + pick-me-up

I have been having a cup of the instant when I get to the office and it helps me stay focused and write and edit more easily. I noticed that instant contains rhodiola, whereas the bagged does not...

Re: Safe body oil?

I did look at the database and selected an oil that seemed like a safe bet. However, on checking, I found it contains safflower and soybean oils, which are in the product I have been using. Perhaps EWG does not screen for healthy oils? That said, I will have to go back to the database and look into ...

Safe body oil?

Hi all, New here but I've read Dr. Bredesen's and Dr. Gundry's books. Also skimmed the primer--I'll go back for a more thorough read later. Does anyone have recommendations for a safe body oil to use? I do like using an oil right out of the shower--my skin is terribly dry, especially in the winter. ...
