Re: Where my APOE 4/4s at?!
What a great response we just read from Nancy. I'm soon to be 84 and love to be active. I walk daily, play pickle ball, belong to two book groups and live with my husband and help keep up the house and yard. There is so much more info coming out daily and aren't we lucky to have these on line resour...

Re: [Lifestyle & Diet of survivors]
Theresa, That was a great reply! Thank you! I'm 82, 4/4, and am doing well. I belong to two book groups which I enjoy and like to read. I meditate daily and do yoga daily. I cook for my husband and me, simply with lots of veggies, olive oil, and limited CHO's. I just finished writing my 85 page auto...

Re: Virtual Book Club: The End of Alzheimer's Program
I wasn' t able to stay for the full time but I think it would be nice if we could talk more about meditation and things like yoga. So much of our time is taken up with supplements and material answers for our problems. .. I would like to talk more about how we relate to our emotional and spiritual p...

Re: Interested in stories about 4/4 folks
I'm 4/4, 80, walk lots, cycle, strength train, dance, meditate, read, play lots of bridge (now on the computer) and generally feel pretty normal. I found out through a research study I enrolled in because my dad had dementia. They mistakenly told me my blood results. On retrospect it was a blessing ...

Re: Definitive on gut biome - lipopolysaccharides and butyrate
Theresa B. You have such a wonderful understanding of this process. In very simple terms, what does a day of 3 meals look like for you. ie, what is a simple breakfast, lunch and or dinner, if you can simplify that much. My husband and I eat the same breakfast and lunch with variations many days. May...

I am grateful for the community of supporters on this site. It is not only your knowledge but your attitude of hope and optimism. I am 80 and a passive participant for the most part but thank all of you who share your insights.

Re: Celebration Thread! Homotaurine/Tramiprosate supplement
I am 4/4, 80 years old, and was diagnosed with A Fib several years ago. I did my research and started on taurine twice/day. I have done other things of course but do not now have A Fib to my knowledge, see the cardiologist annually for a chat (refused meds) and feel I am doing fine. Of course I take...
