Re: Question about Supplement Brands

I was suspicious of buying supplements on Amazon so I actually called Thorne to ask them if their supplements sold on Amazon were authentic. They told me that their supplements sold through Iherb on Amazon were legit. As an aside, I also contacted Blue Buffalo to find out if it was safe to buy their...

I'd also like to thank Floramaria. This was a welcome addition to the other new activities I've been trying during this "stay at home" time!

Re: Can Herpes Zoster ophthalmicus (Shingles) affect the Alzheimer's brain?

My father also seemed to suffer cognitively with the onset of shingles, and that was shortly before he was diagnosed with AD. It made enough of an impression on me that I decided to get the shingles vaccine recently even though I tend to avoid other vaccines due to the fear of toxins.

Re: Chronic Inflammation as a contributor to Alzheimer’s

I love my curcumin and still contend that it's probably one of my most effective supplements. I'm with you Julie. Of all the supplements I take, curcumin is the one that results in the most noticeable difference in how I feel. When I first started on this journey a few years back I was suffering fr...

Re: study: Tb vaccine lowers AD risk.

This TB vaccine notion causes me to think about my ApoE 4/4 father's utterly complete rapid obvious cognitive decline once he had pneumonia. I wonder if vaccinations for pneumonia would be wise for a precaution for 4s. No one really knew he had AD until after the pneumonia. It is difficult to deter...
