Re: New Research Shows How Sleep Clears Toxins from the Brain

Happy to entertain suggestions??? I will do more than entertain them, I will implement them :-) JMac, sorry to hear of your frustrations with "sleep doctors." Some things I didn't see on your list that have helped me are: 1. Taking fish oil with dinner . The moment I started taking fish o...

Re: Lets talk about eggs

I just got my first TMAO test and it was 2.2 uM (Should be <6.2 uM). The 2.2 must be due to the BodyBio PC alone, which I take daily, as I don't eat eggs or meat.

Re: Doubts, Depressing Reviews

The reviews (over 1300 of them just on Amazon) look great to me! I read one negative one stating they had not had success. Bredesen states in his book that it's all about making the changes as early as possible and that if a patient is too far along, they can't save them.

Re: Can Herpes Zoster ophthalmicus (Shingles) affect the Alzheimer's brain?

I plan to get the vaccine in a few weeks, if possible. I read that it does not contain aluminum, thankfully.

I know three people who have had shingles and they were in their 30s and 40s. One of them even got it twice.

Re: Anyone noticing Anti-Cholinergic-like symptoms with Progesterone?

Do you take it in the evening before going to bed? If you don't like the sleepiness, you could switch to a progesterone cream instead?

Re: Question about calcium

I took a bone density test last week and discovered I also have ostopenia. My FM doctor recommends that I take at least 90 mcg of K2 mk-7 (Menaquinone-7) a day, along with sufficient vitamin D. Staying active, exercising and especially weight lifting is equally important. Food-wise: it appears that ...

Re: HBA1c, what is ideal

What is your experience with trying to keep hba1c low? When is your window of eating? If it's later in the day, it may be worth shifting it to earlier. Glucose sensitivity gets a lot worse later in the day due to our circadian system. Eating at 8 am is much better for you than 8 pm. None of us shou...

Re: Can glutathione level be too high?

Has anyone tried IV glutathione in doses over several weeks? I haven't been able to find anything on IV injection from Chris Masterjohn. Are there genetic reasons to avoid it (mthfr, etc)? I do get a headache when I try oral glutathione, implying it's not ideal for me. But it's just an antioxidant, ...

Re: Different Effects from Aerobic vs Anaerobic Exercise

Weight lifting with your legs is particularly beneficial for the brain, I heard recently. When I find my source again, I'll be sure to link it here.

Re: New Research Shows How Sleep Clears Toxins from the Brain

Diet? Nutrition? Deep sleep? Interest in lifestyle, fact that I had a couple of bad sleep genes...not a blip, just an eye glaze if I started talking about what was going on. Didn't really tell them much as they were clearly not interested. I'm doing the sleep study because I want to know if my Fitb...
