Re: Calling all Alzheimer's Activists!

I would love to participate but Tuesdays I work until 10pm ET. My only available day is Thursday. For those of us not available on the date that you choose, will the meeting be recorded?

Re: DISAPPOINTING RESULTS

Hi Slacker: Thanks for your quick response. I am of Mediterranean descent and I always knew that my A1C is generally higher than the average daily blood testing. It's just distressing to see an increase instead of a decrease when you are doing "all the right things, most of the time" . My ...

Re: More disappointing results

I retested my A1C and Insulin and my results are quite distressing A1C from 5.5 to 5.7, and this is with IF 16 to 17 hrs and low carb. The more I restrict carbs the higher the A1C. In fact, it has always been the case with me. This all started with the increase in IF hours from 12-14 and the additio...

Re: Zero carb diet will help prevent Alzheimer’s

This is an interesting topic but it's tricky for me. For a couple of years I was on a zero carb diet. I felt great. The problem were my markers. AIC 5.7, total cholesterol 385, LDL 190, LP-LPA2 high, EGFR 70, NMR particle size high, this scared me. I had to switch to a mostly vegetarian diet. It see...

Re: Testing frequency and testing in other countries

Hi Daymoo Regarding your questions about testing in Mexico, I have a brother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in Mexico City and I found 2 FM doctors and we have an appointment with one of them there. So yes, if you are going to Mexico City you can do the Bredesen Protocol there. Let me know if yo...

Re: Pregnenolone

I take 10mg pregnenolone at night together with 100mg progesterone. This helps me sleep. When I stopped the pregnenolone I was waking up at 4:00am with a panic attack and unable to go back to sleep. Go figure, in some it causes insomnia and in my case it helps me. YMMV. We are all different. My las...

NF52 I was not able, for some reason, to quote your comment to my post. I just want to say thank you for your lovely comment. Re: Happy's Mother's Day to all who had a mother

I'll go next. Today I remember my mother. She was the most beautiful and strong of all mothers. When she was sick with cancer at 51 and saw me crying hiding in the bathroom, she came in and told me not to cry and please let her die because living in bed was not what she wanted after having been an a...
