Re: New Research on Blood Brain Barrier and APOE4

There are research groups studying the drug rapamycin for potential efficacy in "life extension". If I had to guess, this particular anti-rejection drug could be the one referred to in the first post.

Re: NR and NMN

I have been taking 150 mg of NR (Niagen) for about one year. No changes in my bloodwork. Upped the dose to 300 mg, then 900 mg about one month ago. I did not notice any changes in how I feel or sleep with the dosage increase. Have not had bloodwork on the higher dose yet. Found NMN on Alibaba (China...

Carbohydrates and Longevity

With the top risk factor for AD being age, longevity research, or research on how to simply live longer, seems very interesting to me. Here is an article on lifestyle factors affecting longevity in "blue zones", where people may live to over 100 years and do not develop dementia at a high ...

Re: NR and NMN

I have been using 150 mg NR since shortly after it became commercially available (as Niagen). There have been no noticeable changes to any of my cholesterol levels, nor have I noticed any other side effects (good or bad). There is a newer podcast from Dr. Sinclair on aging and the correlation betwee...
