Re: Approval of Aduhelm (aducanumab), what went wrong

Thank you Theresa for all your hard work and research, and to everyone who delves deeper on these drugs, keeps abreast, and gives a variety of views on these drugs. The problems seem to involve ARIA as one of the biggest concerns for anyone with one or two ApoE 4 genes, along with underlying problem...

Re: Donanemab and Lecanemab

As I headed to my pharmacy this morning, seeking something to supplement my antibiotic for a sinus infection, I entered the aisle with a bold sign that read “Cold and Severe Flu Remedies”. I was stunned to see boxes and boxes of oral Sudafed along with liquid and tablet DayQuil lining the aisle unde...

Re: Donanemab and Lecanemab

My thoughts, but I have not read all the posts on this site for awhile. Have taken a break from this forum for a couple years, but as some earlier posts have said, so far these drugs do not show efficacy for either homozygous or heterozygous ApoE 4's which it seems most of us are on this forum. Y Yo...

Re: Celebration Thread! Biogen is going to the FDA with Aducan.

My thanks to all of you for the information and keen analysis! My neurologist wants me to consider applying for the Ahead 3-45 study (BAN2401), but while the odds of ARIA-E are not high, they also are not insignificant, so I would rather opt for the ALZ-801. Unfortunately, although I am a 4/4, I can...

Re: John Koziarski, MD / Battle Creek, MI

Hello SheriJordan! Good to know you are an Indy woman as well! I actually loved my 3.5 drive up to Battle Creek, and found Dr. Koziarski a wonderful doctor, but unfortunately he moved to Florida last August. By that time, I felt I knew enough about lab tests I would need in the future and my primary...

Re: What is considered atrophy in a brain structure per MRI volumetrics (NeuroQuant and Neuroreader)?

Oh dear. I am so sorry. One never knows all the caveats and disclaimers to ask about up front, and hindsight often won't correct those issues without more money and certainly more time. My MRI scan location was slow getting the scans and reports to the neurologist, and did not tell me until I asked ...

Re: What is considered atrophy in a brain structure per MRI volumetrics (NeuroQuant and Neuroreader)?

I am not sure whether this is the place to post, or whether I should have started a new topic called "NeuroQuant and Basic Facts". At any rate, here is what I have learned. 1. To echo what TheBrain originally posted on this thread, i t seems that neurologists and radiologists either are un...
