Re: 2020 Deep Dive into Statins with Roberta Brinton et al
I'm currently on Welchol for sky-high cholesterol and just ordered the probiotic used in the study. I was hoping it would work so that I didn't need to be on a statin, but after reading this thread, it seems like being on a statin (but a particular kind of statin I'd need to figure out) might be be...

Has anyone looked into this? The cholesterol lowering efficacy of Lactobacillus plantarum ECGC 13110402 in hypercholesterolemic adults: a double-blind, randomized, placebo controlled, pilot human intervention study https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1756464622000093 I'm currently on ...

Late to the reply party, I have fully recovered from CIRS. I saw Dr. Lysander Jim in Pasadena, CA.

Re: Synapsin RX
Is it still working for you, seaweed? What is your dosing schedule like? For me, the biggest problem is afternoon fatigue and the accompanying lack of motivation. I'd love to strategically use it as a pick me up to help me focus in the late afternoon. Hi Julie! Yes, it's still working for me. I tak...

Re: Synapsin RX
I asked her about Synapsin and she couldn't find it at a regular pharmacy and asked me where it is being dispensed? Does anyone know the answer? You have to get it from compounding pharmacies. I get mine from Scriptworks 925-934-4400 Forte also has it for a little cheaper, but they don't do as good...

Hi - I'm not sure. His office staff is very nice, though, if you'd like to call and find out.

I have insurance and tests were covered through either lab corp or quest, along with the NeuroQuant MRI. The only thing not covered were the MARCoNs cultures

Re: Synapsin RX
I agree that it's worth pursuing this further. I'll get tested for C4a and C3a. Different CIRS providers have varying approaches to evaluating for CIRS. I asked my FM/CIRS MD for the budget plan, and we started with TGF beta 1 and MSH, both pointing in the direction of CIRS. At that time, you had t...

I took the visual contrast test yesterday and think I did okay? (total score 39/45 (87%); biotoxin score 17/18 (94%)) I see that the visual contrast test is the way to find out if someone is getting better with treatment for biotoxins (source: https://www.survivingmold.com/docs/UNDERSTANDING_CIRS_E...

Re: Synapsin RX
is there any reason why we shouldn't ALL be doing the CIRS protocol for prevention considering how prevalent it is? Mold exposure is obviously bad for everyone but it's extremely bad if you have the "multi-susceptible" haplotype, which I believe around 20% of people do. I have one copy.
