Re: Vitamin B supplements recommendation
I have the same mutations as your husband. I take methylated B-12 and Methylfolate, both from Douglas Labs. You should also look into Betaine(TMG). check out chris master johns protocol for MTHFR. He recommends; creatine, choline, and collagen/glycine to help with mthylation Sent from my SM-N950U us...

Re: NAD/niacinamide
I have a MTHFR mutation. I take niagen daily at 250-500mg with a couple days break ever couple weeks. I also take methylated B's and masterjohns recommended creatine, choline and glycine. I feel really good and haven't noticed any problems. My last bloodwork however had a homocysteine of 12, highest...

Welcome!
You mentioned having optimal estrogen and progesterone levels in your opening post. Do you mean that for men as well as women? What about testosterone levels?
Thanks.

Re: RE: Re: New article: A lymphatic waste-disposal system implicated in Alzheimer’s disease
Our yoga class always does an inversion at least once. She occasionally mentions “this pose is an inversion because your head is below your body”. I wonder if it has to do with the lymphatic system? I’ll try to remember to ask. It's also about blood flow to the brain, and I always thought it was in...

Re: Vitamin/ Supplement Combos for Ease of use & Lower Cost
As far as brands i use Douglas labs for most things. Their essential four pack covers a lot of the basic vitamins and with methylated B's. Theyre not cheap though.

Re: New article: A lymphatic waste-disposal system implicated in Alzheimer’s disease
Interesting take on the REM/non-REM transition - my understanding was that glymphatic clearance was a deep sleep activity, but it seems that REM sleep is perhaps an activator. What then of the effect of medications which inhibit REM sleep - hypnotics including the Z drugs, SSRIs. Thoughts? this pap...
