Re: Gundry internet ads

Hi Jan18, I am totally hearing your frustration. I have come to the conclusion that the stress of all of the dietary restrictions in and of themselves has caused me a boatload of stress. I feel that our health is more than the perfect numbers and perfect diet. I myself feel the same way about Gundry...

Re: Resveratrol and Estrogen Therapy

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many slow COMT people! It isn’t that common to be COMT.
I also was in the past on high dose estradiol with low levels in blood.
Any other cautions with COMT++, ++?

Re: Antibiotics helping with brain fog

Hi Daymoo, Update, I think Somehow my sympathetic nervous system is out of whack. I had a period of feeling better and have regressed. Not sure how this is all related but my oral surgeon thought this root canal was cracked when it was done 10 years ago , maybe more. I also have candida and Aspergil...

Re: Antibiotics helping with brain fog

I am 3/4 and have struggled with brain fog/ brain fatigue. I was also diagnosed with hydrogen SIBO. Rifaxipim didn’t seem to help at the time. Diet changes (FODMAPS) helped somewhat. I truly wonder if there is a connection. I also have had in the past dysautonomia of unknown origin. Symptomless but ...

Re: FOXO3 Gene

Hi to all, I have the homozygous (live to 100) version of this gene FOX03 . My mother has the same. She is now 92 and diabetic but has pretty clear arteries no heart disease and normal blood pressure. My grandmother was 100 and her mother lived to be 102. No significant health issues. But my mother ...

Re: Bioimpedence says I'm inflamed

Hi everyone, Great to read the posts from the conference, thanks Stavia. We are mid Atlantic on a ship on the first leg of our return journey downunder. We took advantage of the opportunity to have a consultation with the fitness director on board with the aim of rebuilding muscle we have lost on t...

Re: Stavia's Vegetarian very low fat trial

Stavia, I think think your trial is great! I have been looking for some inspiration to go back to this diet. I have tried HFLC and my blood sugar is high (fasting over 100). I really think staying insulin sensitive is key. My fasting blood sugar on LFHC diet was in high 70s. I read such scary things...

Re: Carbs?

Hey Gratefuldawg! We're all different, but I eat a lot of carbs (90-100 grams a day) and still stay in mild ketosis because I combine multiple strategies to create KBs. Here's an updated version of my protocol, with pics, and macronutrient ratios, that shows what I eat. Hint: my carbs are primarily...
