Re: Full Keto diet or not?
OK, since posting I read up on ketogenesis in the wiki here: https://wiki.apoe4.info/wiki/Ketosis_and_Ketogenic_Diet. So my question is: Without cognitive issues (and 4/4), should I go on a full keto diet as a pre-emptive measure, or alternatively just practice good healthy lifestyle habits of LCHF ...

Full Keto diet or not?
I notice that on Stavia's primer, the ketogenic diet is not mentioned. However, it is a part of the Bredesen Protocol, as Dr. Bredesen recommends testing with a ketone meter and having level between 1.5 and 3.0. I am 57, 4/4 but asymptomatic. Re: San Francisco / Marin County recommendations?
Go to Bredesen’s website or MPI, you can sign up for $75/month with one year commitment. For that you get a referral list of MDs trained on Bredesen protocol, where you can search by zip code. You also get access to more information on the website including handy manuals, plus your MD can run your d...

Re: High Cholesterol Level
Hi bikerman, A lot of the latest research has been indicating that cholesterol particle size is actually a much better metric for establishing CVD risk compared to just the concentration numbers. High Blood Glucose Level
I am 56 and 4/4. Despite eliminateing all processed foods and simple carbs, and being pretty regimented about the Ketoflex 12/3 diet, my blood glucose level remains persistently high, generally around 100 for fasting glucose and yesterday measured 121, and 123 two hours after breakfast. How can I br...
