Re: my ApoE4 story so far

Hi slacker

Welcome to the group. So sorry about your brother, my mum was diagnosed at 58, such a young age!

Really looking forward to hearing your progress on the Bredesen protocol.

Re: How do you unlock an APOE report on 23andme?

Are the results different in the UK to the US? I did mine late last year and had to go to the My results tab then genetic risk factors where I had to hit a button to confirm I wanted to unlock the results for APOE plus a few others.

General view is that if you can find and remove the triggers.....that's the tough bit, the gut will heal itself although you can help it along!

Re: Monteluekast

Hi Stavia
Sorry to hear your having a bad time, I'm afraid I can't help on the question of monteluekast but have you ever tried using a dehumidifier? They take the dampness out of the air and might help reduce your symptoms.

Re: Hello and Explained Bredesen protocol

hi JJ,
Dr Rangan Chatterjee will be lead physician for Dr Bredesen's protocol here in the UK. The attached gives a bit more info but I didn't see any exact dates.

Re: Inhalational Alzheimer's?

(((Julie))) it sounds scary as hell but you are in the best possible hands and as you say, hopefully understanding why will help you deal with the underlying causes and make some real improvements. Knowing the cause is the start of fixing it :)
