Re: Is anyone else experimenting with ALZLIFE? (40-hz light/sound therapy app)

I have been using this with my wife for about three years. Until quite recently we felt her deterioration was less than would’ve expected. See my previous posts. JerryB

Re: 40 hz gamma light and sound therapy

Thanks, NF52, ( sounds like I am texting a robot) but if I didn’t do everything I could for the lovely lady who looked after me for 50 years, I would be a real cad wouldn’t I?

Re: 40 hz gamma light and sound therapy

I had my wife enrolled in a small study using a vibroacoustic chair back produced by Sound Oasis company in Massachusetts, I believe. After a year, I returned the device to researcher and purchased one. They have programs built in but I feed in a 30 minute audio file stored on an ancient iPod touch....

Re: Brain wave stimulation may improve Alzheimer's symptoms

My wife has mild Alzheimer’s. She was part of a research study by Dr. Amy Clements-Cortez using a chair back acoustic and vibrating device. While one of the included auditory programs is supposed to emphasize the 40 hertz range, we used a simple 30 minute 40 hertz sound track on an iPod touch fed in...

Re: Maybe a tapeworm is the answer

Have not been on forum in months but just found this article which may be of significance: https://apple.news/A-OEwkJSaRSCADOyPGeWCHQ My wife has early Alzheimer’s and ongoing mild gut issues hence I have always been interested in gut brain interface. In addition came across a scientific article abo...

History of our treatment struggles

TWENTY TWO MONTHS INTO THE JOURNEY, a.k.a. “ It was the most cruciferous of years, it was the least cruciferous of years.” I am going to recount our journey in trying to help my wife battle and, hopefully, defeat her descent into Alzeimers disease. One month before our 50th anniversary in April of 2...

Re: Ashwagandha, Curcumin and Other Amyloid Interfering Supplements

Are there a lot of bad results from supplements documented? My wife had to discontinue the Bredesen Protocol due to side effects from either the supplements containing Ashgawanda or from the HRT . I assumed that since she is 78 the bad effects were due to the HRT. She had swelling in ankles, an exac...

Re: Aluminum as a causal factor of Alzheimer's - Introduction of myself to the community

Does it make sense to filter tap water used for cooking and like and begin Fiji water for drinking water? Could Fiji water be mixed with exogenous ketones? My wife has bad gut issues -I believe they were made worse by bad reaction to Bredesen protocol ( supplements or HRT ) - and only hope I have at...

Re: Hormone Replacement Therapy E4 Women

Sorry to add complications but my wife (78) was put on HRT by Bredesen Practitioner . About four months in she had a very bad reaction with swollen ankles, lethargy, and more gut problems on top of her ongoing IBS type C. It had to be either the HRT or the Bredesen supplements and wlhen these were d...

Re: Bredesen Protocol with low BMI

Usually 1.3 or lower. Many complications because she is IBS-C type and had bad reaction to either female hormone replacement therapy or Bredesen supplements: legs swollen, extreme lethargy and more bowel issues. We have had to discontinue the Bredesen Protocol and the only hope I have at this point ...
