Re: Let's solve ALZ. APOE4--Nature's/God's Original Design

Hi Julie. With the success of current trials, I'm thinking that ApoE4s may actually fit into the amyloid camp, whereas other variants who get AD would fall under Bredesen's multifactor causation model. Of course ApoE4's could be subject to both if their life styles have been poor... What leads you ...

Re: Let's solve ALZ. APOE4--Nature's/God's Original Design

Our American society appears specifically vulnerable to the deception a pill will fix a problem, that a pill will override structurally flawed (addictive) consumption habits. Great post. We all wish it were that easy! ApoE4 must have some redeeming qualities or it wouldn't evolutionarily still be a...

Re: talk about prevention strategies?

Below is a quote homocysteine from "Breaking Alzheimer’s: A 15 Year Crusade to Expose the Cause and Deliver the Cure" by Dayan Goodenowe, Chapter 19.
Amazing share, Tincup. I love the details of this stuff! Understanding the why helps us all refine our protocols.

Re: talk about prevention strategies?

Hit me with thoughts, advice, etc. Feel free to get technical if you want. I’m a biochemist working in a related field - though I feel like I know almost nothing useful and find it hard to keep up with the new developments. Hi there, fiver! Your regimen looks good. A few thoughts: -E4, in a dose de...

Re: APOE4/4 makes it to age 86!

As I read, understand about aphasia and dysarthria, these are "two distinct communication disorders that affect speech and language in different ways. Dysarthria is a motor speech disorder that affects the muscles used for speech, while aphasia is a language disorder that affects the ability t...

Re: APOE4/4 makes it to age 86!

Her cognition is intact, yes. That's the most amazing part. She can still answer direct Yes/No questions with full comprehension even if her speech is severely impaired, limited. That's not supposed to happen for APOE4/4 people at age 86, they are supposed to be “gone” by now. Tell us more about th...

Thank you for sharing, AnnieV! Congrats to you and your mom on the dedication. I assume that her cognition is still strong? That's amazing. I'm sure many would like to hear the details of her routine.

Re: Homotaurine (tramiprosate) appears to be a structure corrector

Hi Julie. What were the results from the last ALZ-801 update? Definitely good, but not earth shattering. I'd be onboard if it didn't make me sick. You can read in this thread. I also wonder about the integrity of ingredients in the Smart Homataurine. I wish there was some independent validation. A ...

Re: Homotaurine (tramiprosate) appears to be a structure corrector

Thanks for this thread. I started homotaurine 2 days ago, 100mg once daily. The first dose went fine but the second made me vomit. Hoping this gets better with time or maybe with a decrease in dose and/or giving with food? Big hugs to you. I had the EXACT same experience- bleh. When I vomited, I ha...
