AD Onset: the importance of family history (or, how I stopped worrying and learned to love age 89)

I long-suspected something like the findings below; I mean, it's (and I abhor saying this, because of a certain "official" who's hijacked the upcoming phrase) simply common sense: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/02/180226131435.htm?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&...

Re: Wow this is interesting on how to better support the biome and why!

Although the title seems rather focused on one issue, this really ties in a lot of our subjects but extends them further. As usual there's a commercial product in the mix, but I have to say this just makes sense to me, although I know 'sense' is not science! I think I'm going to try the product bas...

Re: Lets talk about eggs

Neither cholesterol, nor egg intake, was associated with a higher risk of dementia. Conversely, moderate egg intake was associated with improved cognitive performance. This held true for E4 carriers. I'm unable to find full-text to learn more. Hi, girly! :) I know...I just read this. Veggie omelett...

Re: What are the diagnostic criteria for "dementia"?

Ladies - mea culpa because I'm just scanning. However, I read enough to say this: have that shit removed from any and ALL medical records and documentation post haste, and that includes billing, notes, etc. I cannot emphasize this enough. Sorry I cursed, but I think this warrants it...because what t...

Re: Chronic Inflammation as a contributor to Alzheimer’s

Thank you for the hug, Lily. I could use it. This is scary stuff. Mold doesn't appear to be an issue in my case. Although all of my inflammatory markers are sky-high, my HLA Haplotype (genetic signature) points to a post-Lyme infection. I did experience a tic bite with bullseye rash years ago. I wa...

Oh, DERP. I'll rent that sucker for $6 and screenshoot it all. Up yours, Wiley, and shame on you for forcing us to download bloody ReadCube. :(

Of course I'll share with the class when I obtain. :)

No worries, sweetheart! Thanks for letting me know.

God, it's such a racket. Sigh. Mebbe I'll do my annoying thing of bugging all the researchers via email. (((Stavia)))

Re: NanobacTx

Hmm. Dunno anything about it (is your PCP a functional med physician?), but that's not saying much.

Interesting that the FDA slapped a warning letter on the manufacturers in Feb 2015, though:
