Does Alzheimer’s affect the absorption of nutrients and calories?
Does Alzheimer’s affect the absorption of nutrients? My mother died of LOAD, my brother from EOAD. Both were extremely skinny at the time of their death, though both were eating plenty of calories. My brother’s wife did everything to help him keep his weight up and I saw him eat well and happily, ye...

Anyone familiar with The Brain and Behavior Clinic, Boulder CO?
Anyone knows about the The Brain and Behavior Clinic in Boulder Co? Some of their doctors appeared as co-authors on Dr. Bredesen's latest (Oct 2018) publication, and they offer the Bredesen protocol.

Thank you Lucy, srbogert, for your warm welcome. I have downloaded my 23andme data to Promethease and spent yesterday evening looking at it. Introduction
Hello, I am new to this side, found it after reading Dr Bredesen's book. According to 23andme I am not APOE4, at least they say I do not have increased risk for LOAD. On the other hand my mother developed AD in her late 70's, my father, who was not diagnosed, definitely had dementia when he died at ...

Re: Dr. Joe Cohen DO / Boulder, CO / Bredesen Trained, CBD
Hello Tincup,
Have you seen Dr Cohen? What is your experience? I would like to get an evaluation and recommendations for Bredesen protocol from someone knowledgeable. I live in Boulder Co so Dr Cohen's practice would be perfect if you recommend them.
