Re: Google as Big Brother?

Most people don't realize that the more your search on google, the more they're collecting info from you & selling it for free. As such, I've rarely used it for several years now, & go to wikipedia if I just need straight facts and a couple of months ago started using duckduckgo from a recom...

Re: keto rash

My rash was going away & then last week some new spots appeared! Dag-nabbit :? The only thing I can think of is that I drank a glass of alcohol the night before (ie. spirits―after abstaining completely from alcohol when I was in deep ketosis). Then they started to fade again...weird! It really i...

Re: apoe4 children have lower IQ`s ?

FWIW #2: My father has at least one E4, & he has a PhD in chemical engineering from UC Davis. Although he is by no means a genius, he worked really hard. He was actually rejected by the PhD program at the University of Washington, didn't give up & transferred to UC Davis & got it there!

Re: Not interested in a keto diet

I know what you mean by getting obsessive-compulsive. My intention is always not to be, but once I get into, I tend to be OC about it. So far, I'm not OC with the ketosis surprisingly! But that's precisely why I never got a fit-bit or one of those fitness trackers...bc I know I would be obsessing ab...

Re: Too soon for Alzheimer's Prevention?

I can envision a public health campaign that piggybacks on Warren Buffets's metaphor below. If I knew the first car I got would have been my only car, I would have taken much better care if it. How about you? When I was sixteen, I had just two things on my mind - girls and cars. I wasn't very good ...

Re: Updates to Dr Bredesen's Protocol

Regarding smell:
alcohol doesn't smell good (to me) so no problem
coffee I can understand―smells good & can perk me up a little (e.g. being in a coffee shop)
but bread, pastries, candy―I avoid walking past bakeries bc definitely not the same as tasting!
