Laurie,
You say that a 24-hour urine test is the best way to test for aluminum in the body.
Does this mean that the serum aluminum test I got from LabCorp, which showed a reading of 3, well within the good zone, is not to be trusted?
Thanks!

Re: Dr. Rhonda: Get some DHA in phospholipid form
The Cronometer CRDB does indeed give .66g of omega-3 (=660mg) for these eggs, but that's a "community" number, not a lab number, apparently. It seems as though the eggs are mostly produced by adding a lot of flaxseed to the feed, but although flaxseed is only ALA, the chickens manage someh...

Re: Dr. Rhonda: Get some DHA in phospholipid form
With regard to omega-3 eggs, there's a standout candidate egg containing 660 mg of omega-3, which compares very well indeed with the 225 mg which seems to be the standard for fancy store, expensive, eggs. I believe these were/are produced by Christopher eggs, and they pop up available here and there...

Re: Dr Bredesen's DHEA Target High???
I think they're the same. Dr. Bredesen talks about dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), but in his goals, he talks about DHEA Sulfate, and gives the numbers quoted here. Probably that's the "S"... but you're certainly right, his goals are more different here than in most categories, although a t...

Re: Drinking Silica water prevents Alzheimer's in those with the APOE-E4 gene
Braun coffee maker (model KF7000 specifically) has stainless steel tube that transports the water, so presumably no aluminum leaching into the water. They write: "Thank you for your recent contact to our Customer Service Center. Please be advised that all parts coming in contact with water or p...

Re: Drinking Silica water prevents Alzheimer's in those with the APOE-E4 gene
Laurie, Thanks for this! What I was wondering about was whether this filter was of the apparently ideal sort, i.e. Brita, or more like other, less ideal, sorts. For us it's in a new fridge which is very convenient, and caused us to retire our Brita as a result. (Brita will now be used for making sil...

Re: Proton Pump Inhibitors correlated with AD
Dr. Gundry lists PPI's among his Seven Deadly Dirsupters. While it seems impossible to get in to see him, he allegedly likes "canaries" (as in canaries in the coal mine) who react very badly. Maybe this would get you in to see him - it might be interesting to have his take on this, as he's...
