Re: Ketone Diarrhea a Follow Up
I had issues similar to this when on a strict keto diet. I would eat, easily 2000 calories a day and I still lost weight, yet had massive amounts of bm that was diarreaish. I wonder why and if other apoe 4/4 have this issue too. I had fat in my middle, and I was pre diabetic, even though I wasn't ve...

So, I too have a C/T
I always feel good with a healthy amount of dense carbs. High fat low carb is not fun for me and after I lost my weight I switched back to more carbs and feel awesome.

Re: Best diet for women 4/4’s?
I did keto for 6 months. I just need more fiber though and my weight did drop 15 pounds from tummy and has stayed off...so now, I do eat more fruit and rice, and I am a happier person. While I am always thinking about the 4/4... my best secret is only eating my calories within a 6 hour window.

I am of irish ancestry, reddish hair, blue eyes, rarely tan even a bit, and get freckly... WELL... OMG... listen to this!!! I did keto for several months to get my blood sugar insulin in check, lost 15 pounds, and then slowly introduced back some grains and healthy carbs. But the big thing that I di...

Re: Blood sugar
My insulin was low, a 4 . but my A1c was a 5
So I guess that is good...but... is the A1c indicative of aging (glycation), ,or is that also really the insulin number.
I am confused at how my insulin can be lower than my a1C
Thanks

Re: Blood sugar
My aiC is also a 5 and I am also a 4/4
I eat very healtthy and am fit, but I can't seem to get my Aic lower
Is a 5 okay for a 4/4 ?
I ask because I know people with a 4.2, and a 4.5 that are not as fit as I am, yet have a better a1C

Food Allergy and Lectin ? affecting gut, opinons?
I am confused about all the new trendy online food allergy tests that are very affordable. Are they accurate? If I am allergic does that mean that it is the Lectins inside (Dr. Gundry talks about this) I understand Gluten and Dairy allergies... as well as a few other well-known food allergies.., but...

Re: pre-diatetes 4/4, A1C, blood glucose, insulin
When I drink electrolytes or take vitamins or bone broth... even though they are carb free, and don't have artificial sweeteners, I think my insulin must push up my blood glucose a bit. When that happens, is it still doing damage even if it is up because of something else? Does damage only happen wh...

pre-diatetes 4/4, A1C, blood glucose, insulin
I am so upset that I have been on the verge of pre-diabetes for years and no doctor ever warned me. I have had 3 different doctors since 2010 and on all of my annual checkup reports they tell me all is well. Since educating myself in these past months, I went through my old paperwork and saw that NO...
