Re: New Technology Toothpaste that Greatly Reduces Plaque

My hygenist and dentist were both horrified when they saw my "post-Livionex" staining. It took the hygenist 90 minutes of work, but she finally got my teeth back to their normal appearance. So I've returned to using Sensodyne for now. But I do have 2 remaining unused tubes of Livionex (sti...

Re: Recommended cookbooks for ApoE4 eating?

Hi Nancy, I have that cookbook and have started making some recipes from it, with some very good results and some "meh" results. Food likes and dislikes are such a subjective thing! The cookbook I like the best is called "the Art of Eating Well" by Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley. It...

Re: Viisit with Functional Doctor - MEND Protocol

I have my first appointment with Dr. Kogan on 9/13 (it took me several months to get an intake appointment). I'm happy to let folks know how it goes!
Best,
Catherine S.

Re: Strategies that Improved my Cognition

I'm jumping in a little late here, but I wanted to add that I've been taking magnesium threonate for about a month, and I do think it's had a negative effect. I was taking one pill in the morning and two at night, and then I backed off to just do two at night. Even then, I feel a little "dopey&...

Re: New Technology Toothpaste that Greatly Reduces Plaque

Thanks for the responses. My hygienist was able to squeeze me in this Friday to see if she can remove the staining. I'm on the fence as to whether to try using the Livionex on an occasional basis going forward. I guess I'll decide after my dental appointment, once I know how hard/easy the stains are...

Re: New Technology Toothpaste that Greatly Reduces Plaque

I've been using Livionex for 3 months now. My teeth "feel" much cleaner, but I won't know what my dentist thinks until I go in for my next appointment. However, my teeth have really turned brown and it's driving me nuts. Based on the postings above, I'm going to try the Rembrandt Intense S...

Re: Hormone Replacement Therapy E4 Women

I've been on oral HRT (estradiol and medroxyprogesterone). After looking at the study, I'm wondering if I should ask my ob/gyn to switch me to the patch. Any thoughts on this?
