Re: What’s your Omega-3 dose?
Surprised at some of the high Omega-3 Indexes with relatively moderate doses. I’m guessing you’re also eating a lot of fish and/or have a low BMI.

What’s your Omega-3 dose?
I’m interested in seeing what everyone’s daily supplemental Omega-3 dose is (EPA and DHA). And if you happen to know your Omega-3 Index?
I’m currently taking 3g EPA + 1g DHA.

Re: rs2075650
If they used A as the reference allele, then G would be considered higher risk. The math is the same, just reversed.
And btw, AG is very common.

Re: rs2075650
The meta-analysis shows a 38% risk reduction, but again I’m not sure if it’s AA vs GG or AA+AG vs GG. Either way, that’s quite a lot for a single SNP. rs157580 is in weak linkage disequilibrium with APOE e4. I inherited APOE e4 from my mother, but not her G allele.

Re: rs2075650
Depends how you look at it. One could say each G increases risk.

I’m not sure exactly how the risk is stratified by genotype, but the A is protective.

Re: rs2075650
Probably not much, if at all. rs157580 is the TOMM40 SNP that is significantly associated.

Re: Massive AD GWAS! YEAH!!!
Appreciate it, J11
Unfortunately, neither 23andMe v4 nor Ancestry v2 genotyped the two new ones with large ORs (SORT1, NCK2).

Anyone have access to the SNPs?
