Re: Dr. Rhonda: Get some DHA in phospholipid form

Seems fishy to me. Exactly. If the omega 3 in eggs is from feeding the hens flax seeds, do the hens convert it to DHA and EPA before it goes into the egg? Or are we eating ALA in the eggs and our bodies converting it? It sounds like the former if we can ascertain how much PL-bound DHA is in omega 3...

Re: Lectins and AD - Exploring a Potential but Unproven Connection

adeponectin & osteopenia At AHS16, a member of our group with osteoporosis could not attend a dinner with Gundry. She called me and asked me to ask him about taking supplemental calcium and osteoporosis. He recommended against it and also said his wife significantly improved osteopenia when she...

Re: Dr. Rhonda: Get some DHA in phospholipid form

Just got this reply from Nordic Naturals, but it still doesn't answer the question:
Our Omega-3 Phospholipids contains 350mg of phospholipids per serving. Below is a link for your convenience.

Re: URGENT: Biomarker Study Opportunity for ApoE4.Info Members

Having not had much time for the forum the last 15 months, I'm so happy to see all the 'new' people here ready to be so involved! :D I'm interested as well, but I don't think I can spend the extra on the study since I spend so much on my supplements and high quality foods. A conundrum. I'll follow t...

Thank you bladedmind! Since I think I'm getting enough of those other nutrients, maybe I'll switch to the omega-3 eggs. :D

Re: Dr. Rhonda: Get some DHA in phospholipid form

In my post two entries above, I point out that the Nordic Naturals Phospholipid label and advertising material do not state the actual amount of phospholipid-bound DHA and EPA. in the product. Poster Circular in their post one entry above said they would email NN with the question. Sorry I never go...

Re: Housework could keep brain young, research suggests

Having our own home will give us a place to relax and recharge when we get those stressful caregiving days. Speaking from experience doing it both ways, this is invaluable, and more and more so over time! I've lived a lot of places and found every single one to be an adventure in such interesting a...

Re: Lectins and AD - Exploring a Potential but Unproven Connection

Gundry is probably at loose ends with too much time on his hands after publishing his next book, so you might as well throw the next book idea by him! For no charge... He's now squeezed out Longevity Paradox . Adiponectin Paradox must be next! I came across this deep-dive paper for the adipon...
