What's the best strategy?

I have a very good friend that's been diagnosed with early stage Alzheimer's. He's had cognitive tests and a PET scan. He's 72 and in good physical shape. He does have sleep apnea and uses a CPAP machine. His wife retired and is an excellent caregiver. I found a Bredesen practitioner here in Madison...

Re: Does Alzheimers show up on an MRI?

Ironically, found out he got scheduled yesterday for a PET scan...thank you both for your help! Still not sure if I should push for a APOE test. Seems like it would be a good idea. She is one of the few Certified Functional Medicine practitioners in Wisconsin. She provides Functional Medicine and Chiropractic care in the Madi...

Re: AHNP Precision Health_Lunches ReCode Protocol

I have a friend in need of the ReCode tests. I've read Bredesen's book and have communicated with AHNP a few months ago. They were a little slow getting back to me, but not too bad. They explained that they were having difficulty keeping up with the demand. Sounds like things have gotten even worse....

Re: looking for a practitioner in Wisconsin

I have a good friend in Madison that could benefit from a Bredesen trained doctor, but I don't believe there is one in Madison. That's astonishing, considering Madison is a bit of a healthcare mecca. I've identified and contacted one in Rockford, IL however. Here's the link: https://www.ifm.org/prac...
