Re: MyHeritage.com Test - ApoE4?
Hello, everyone. I am new here and from a non-english speaking country. MyHeritage.com offers a test in my country which according to their info would tell me of my risk of late-onset Alzheimer's. However, it is not clear to me whether the test will answer whether I do have the ApoE4 variant or not...

Re: Doubts, Depressing Reviews
Wondering if others have read the single star reviews of The End of Alzheimer's on amazon. Many people seem to express the knee jerk opinion that it's snake oil. I have to say, the commercialization demonstrated by Apollo Health and their slick ads are very much of a turn-off and move the dial towa...

Re: Video APOE, APOE4, Cholesterol, LDL & Insulin Resistance
Yes. This is an exceptional video. Interesting tho - in every case where he talks about “fasting”, his corresponding slide presents “intermittent fasting.” He never actually says the word “intermittent”. I mention this as while my 20/4-hour OMAD regime seems to be marginally productive (and quite c...

Re: How to get neural agility program from dr bredesen
Hello, I am new here. My mother has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We will be entering the Bredesen program with a practitioner in Canada (where we live) as early as next week. I was watching a video of Dr. Breseden speaking, and he mentioned a meditation/neuroagility program which can be fo...

Re: New here 4/4
I am 4/4. My mother's only sister was also 4/4 (mom passed at 51 before I could test her). My Aunt S started showing symptoms early 50's, was non verbal by 60, passed at 70. I had mentally prepared to somewhat follow her path even with diet/exercise/knowledge. I just checked her rs5882 and it was A...

Re: New Here. Hello!
Hi everyone. My name is Paul and I am 60 and have one copy of the APOE4 gene. Heard a great podcast recently on the topic on "Found My Fitness" and heard about this group. I have type 2 diabetes, so I would assume that my biomarkers are not ideal. I do plan to implement changes in my life...
