You have done a great job keeping yourselves healthy and helping so many others to do the same.

SusanJ and Tincup I am glad to see you both are so active. It is great how much good you are doing for the newly diagnosed. They can see people who were diagnosed many years ago and are doing well by following good eating and health practices. Keep up the good work!

Hello Peter, I'm a just turned 87 4/4 female. When I discoved I was a 4/4 I went to Stanford's Alheimer's project for an evaluation. I wanted to have a baseline so I would have an accurate amount of my decline if it happened. My ten years had passed and I was feeling as if I might be declining and c...

Re: Still looking for hope.
Hello NF52, I get a message when you mention Starfish77. That is why I'm responding. Quite honestly I haven't thought about being an e4/e4 for quite a while. Old age has provided me with enough medical events to take my mind off worrying about being an e4/e4. Thanks to good medical coverage many of ...

Re: Hoping for answers
Hello, I was so impressed with all that you have worked to accomplish. It is great that you are going to work on your diet and exercise to get you in the best shape to keep up with your baby boy. He is fortunate to have a mom with so much determination. I've gotten so much valuable information from ...

Hello Mustafa, I have a friend who was told she had dementia and made a full recovery. She was 65 years old and had been in a skilled nursing facility for a leg injury. She became almost unable to speak and could not give me the name of her daughter who was next to her. I helped her family get her p...

Re: Interested in stories about 4/4 folks
Hi Justin, I haven't looked at the APOE4 site for a long time. I got here by accident. I was doing a genealogy search and must have hit a wrong key and the site popped up so I logged on. I then saw your message. I had to smile reading about your description of yourself. It sounds like me with a coup...

Re: Just discovered I'm 4/4
Hi Julestra, I discovered I was an e4/e4 on 23andme. I had joined because I wanted to use the genealogy info and the health info was a bonus. Like you I only had no close family members with Alzheimers. When I joined APOE4.info it inspired me to improve my health. I had yoyo dieted all my life. Now ...

John34, I'm very impressed with all the changes you have made. I'm interested in getting a FITBIT and all the stats you got from yours sounded like a model I might be interested in. Is (charge 3) the model number?
Thanks
