Re: Toxins profile.Right physician

Hello, I'm new in this group and happy to hear from others. My father has just registered in ReVERSE protocol. He has early lewy body dementia and i had a chance to ask Dr Beredsen about the protocol. He informed me that the protocol is beneficial for lewy body patients but one must concentrate on ...

Re: Adult son is 4/4

Hi, I’m a newbie at this forum. My son has his DNA tested and is 4/4 apoe4. Hmmmmm....I know what this means but what does it actually means for his brother and sister who won’t get tested? And what does this indicates for us, his parents. We donated him our DNA so does that indicates that we also ...

Re: Just found out APOE 4-2 copies

I found out a couple of years ago (I’m 47) that I have double 4E, but it has only now started to sink in because my mother was just diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Feeling quite down and hopeless about it but your post is very reassuring! Welcome MiniJunkie! As you've already seen here, there is much h...

Re: APOE 4/4 4x increase in mortality from Covid-19

I just got on here for this subject and I'm amazed there's only 5 comments! Is this a big deal or not? I'm 48 4/4 and mthfr 4/4. What's the good news about being apoe4/4? Hello TH23! Glad to have you join the conversation here on apoe4.info. You've already been welcomed by two of the most well-info...

Re: My experience may help others eat the right foods

I have recently discovered Dr. Bredesen’s book and his treatment protocol fits what I have been doing for several years. I thought if I describe it, it may be helpful for someone on the forum. ...Although I am retired, I work in a factory which gives me plenty of exercise. The result is that althou...

Dear CoachDD, You posted: (below) I am unable to send a pm because the system says I have not made enough posts before. So I am hoping to connect with you by replying to this rather dated discussion, in which you posted a very interesting file. See below... I would like to have a live conversation ...

Re: 3/4 new here with high LDL after 3-months keto

Hello, I’m an apoE3/4 new to the forum, and I’ve really gotten a big boost out of all the great info here—thank you to Dr. Stavia for the primer and to all the contributors for sharing! Here’s my story: I’ve known I have a copy of the apoE4 allele for more than a year now... I'm glad I found this s...

Re: Unfortunate side effect from melatonin.

Ok, I just registered for this site so I can reply... THANK YOU!!! I've been suffering from diarrhea for over a week, and for the life of me I couldn't understand why. Then I researched the side effects of melatonin and voila, saw this. I'm going to stop taking it right away and see if this clears ...

Re: Missing allele found in me

DanteLabs made whole genome sequencing (30x) and I am confused with my APOE. Sequencing.com says I'm e2/e4 but I think I'm e3/e1. Can anyone help me with this messed up gene I carry? My cholesterol levels are also weird, for example my HDL-TG-ratio is 1:4.2 and I got xanthelasmas in both my eyelids...
