Re: Higher Lung Cancer Risk Due to Vitamin B Supplementation?

I have found this B vitamin complex, which I consider taking: https://www.med24.no/vitaminer-mineraler/enkelte-vitaminer/b-vitamin/biosym-omni-b-active-120-kap The label says (in Norwegian) it contains "Folsyre (calcium-L-methylfolat)". "Folsyre" is folic acid, directly translate...

Higher Lung Cancer Risk Due to Vitamin B Supplementation?

Hi, all. I am MTHFR homozygote, trying to get my elevated homocysteine (>11) down by supplementing with vitamin B complex. However, I have come upon some research articles which show an association between vitamin B supplementation and higher risk of lung cancer, e.g. this study: Cancer Incidence an...

Re: How to supplement PL-DHA

Hi, Robin. My father is using the recommended dosage, i.e. two caps per day - I think it is 1 mg combined. It is not much of a dose, I guess, but he gets a subjective feeling of being "quicker" in remembering. My father will be 60 in a couple of years, so it is high time starting preventio...

Re: How to supplement PL-DHA

My father has had increased trouble with word-finding and forgetting where he put his car keys etc. the last few years. He has one ApoE4 allele. After I put him on plasmalogens from NeuroRegain, he has said that he feels that his memory has improved. The episodes of forgetting come more seldom, is a...

Re: New - Intro - Prodome - Research trials

https://prodrome.com/store/ I have tried the Prodrome store, but it seems to require some kind of registration via a doctor. Or has anyone actually managed to buy it from them? I bought it through a now closed Indiegogo campaign , perhaps call them? Their indiegogo page informs that it is closed, a...

Re: MyHeritage.com Test - ApoE4?

Thank you both for your informative and really helpful replies. So I think I will get the test from MyHeritage.com and upload it to other services to get answers on what variant of the ApoE4 gene I have. My quest to get the answer on what variant of the gene I have is primarily so that I can decide ...

MyHeritage.com Test - ApoE4?

Hello, everyone. I am new here and from a non-english speaking country. MyHeritage.com offers a test in my country which according to their info would tell me of my risk of late-onset Alzheimer's. However, it is not clear to me whether the test will answer whether I do have the ApoE4 variant or not....
