Re: Has anyone worked with any doctors at the Cleveland Clinic/functional medicine

I am located in Cleveland and was wondering if there was anyone in functional or conventional medicine that is aware of and knowledgable about Apoe4 Hi again Shannon (I'm the same person who responded to your other post.) The Cleveland Clinic has a commitment to complementary medicine and brain hea...

Re: Any other young people? does anyone know the statistics for 3/4 Bit overwhelmed and freaked out

:? So I decided to impulsively run my raw DNA into Promethase this weekend and I was flagged for being heterozygous 3/4 I just turned 24 last month...I will not lie my heart dropped when I read the statistics for it, and I am trying not to think about it all the time but I find myself thinking I'll...

Re: Recommended Labs

Does anyone have a good list of what blood work/labs I should get done? I am APOE 4/4 and started fasting a year ago as well as mostly plant based low carb eating. I have never done a full RECODE blood panel. My GP does basic blood work each year but it is missing so many things that come up on the...

Re: Would an allele that reduced lipoprotein(a) modify apoe4?

Bear with me. I'm still really new to all this research so there might be gaping holes in my theory. I know nothing is really certain but if the problem with apoe4 were because it increased the level of Lp(a), would snps that reduced your levels of Lp(a) then reduce your Alzheimer's risk in theory?...

Re: Optically improved mitochondrial function redeems aged human visual decline

Does anyone have a link for the device he used? I was unable to open the paper and when I searched the internet I did not find a device meant to be looked at. Hi Aspenia, The original article is behind a paywall, but by Googling the primary author's name, I found this report on it from the helpful ...

Re: Using RAPA for AD prevention

I am taking Fisetin every 4-5 weeks for 2 days in a row, 1500 mg. This is the protocol for the human trial Mayo used. Dr. Green did his own calculations and came out with the same conclusion. Are there any results from the Mayo Clinic human trial? All I can find is results of one of their dasatinib...

Re: Biogen stock up 10% for Alzheimer's drug

That is wonderful news! My mother is 4/4 and she told me that she had been diagnosed with MCI. Hopefully this will help her at some point soon. Is there anyway to become a trial participant? Sorry to be late to trying to answer your great question, Vikingman. Here's what I know: 1. Right now, only ...

Hi J11 I need more clues, can you elaborate? Thanks Karelena, thank you for replying. My suggestion might be of value, though obscure riddles can stand in the way of understanding. Here are a few more hints: ... also give me an L; now there are not many letters left to give. What I am thinking of i...

Biogen had already been given permission by the FDA to re-start the previously cancelled trials for 2400 participants with MCI or early-stage AD. Those are the par...

Re: MRI Results

Hi there! I was hoping somebody with a medical background could help me interpret my neurologists report. I had a brain MRI last week and won’t be able to see her for a few weeks. I’m freaking out a bit based on her impressions. I’ve attached the report to this post as it’s difficult to type the wh...
