Re: Hormone Replacement Therapy E4 Women

Thanks Slacker for double checking. I am on bi weekly patch so day 2 or 3 would be correct. That is really helpful. I have my first visit with functional medicine dr in a few weeks and have a health coach who I am beginning with. I will check the slide too. Thankyou for f/u so quickly.

Re: Hormone Replacement Therapy E4 Women

:D Waves and smiles to all my APOE sisters and brothers. I'm trying to get to that magic level of 40-60pg/ml of estradiol that Ann Hathaway recommended at the Lo Carb convention last year. I've been using transdermal for most of the >10 years of menopause. But my levels kept coming back <25 so switc...

Hi Drake,
Yep use the food processor with shaving attachment. I don’t take off the jackets unless they have yellowed. I also cut the ends off. You will need to cut them to fit in the feed tube of the processor. Not at all like kale chips. More like coleslaw size. ENJOY!

Re: ApoE4.Info on Evolving Past Alzheimer's Podcast

Hi Julee (WAVES), Both Shelley and I listened to the pod cast and really enjoyed it. Your explanations are clear and understandable. Your insight and persistence in being proactive regarding your health is remarkable. The story of your own APOE4 related health crisis is one that speaks to the chines...

Re: Brain Training Study

Thanks for the clarification searcher and Indy 3/4. I was horrible at statistics, but you make it easier. I’m still confused about Relative Risk verses Absolute risk. Re: Biomarker Information Spreadsheet

Waves Back Julie. Thanks for the info about the tabs. I completely missed that. It would be nice to have Dr. B's program a little more condensed like the preventing Cognitive Decline check list.

Re: Blood Test Results questions

Brain since your total testosterone is 260, I wouldn’t go up on your dhea since it can increase testosterone and cortisol. Will be interesting to hear what your new practitioner says. Ps the color of blood is a very general indicator of oxygen content but subjective and not used in medical practices.
