Re: Either I have house elves or I am losing it.

Hi Caveman: There have been many times when I'm driving and getting to my destination without knowing how I got there. I am not consciously driving, my subconscious does all the work. I believe every person has had experiences like this, when things that we do every day are automatic and do not requ...

Re: New Test Predicts Alzheimer’s Memory Loss Far in Advance

I am with Fiver. My first thought, this is terrifying. I don't know if I want to know, especially that I am doing everything I can to prevent AD.

Re: anti-.vrals

I take L-Lysine for prevention of herpes outbreaks. It works wonders. When I feel an outbreak coming, I double the dose and it generally aborts it. I take 1000mg daily. You can try and see if it helps you. YMMV.

Thank you Jafa. I took a quick look at the link and yes this guy is a smart dude. I will listen carefully as soon as I have more time.

Re: My aunt just died of Alzheimer’s

Brain, I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. It always saddens me profoundly as I have a brother who was diagnosed 2 years ago with Alzheimer's disease. Although now, thankfully, after implementing Bredesen's Protocol he's reversed some of his decline and is at the stage of MCI. He's thriving and ha...

Re: Liposomal and phospholipid supplements, a caution for some?

Thanks Circular: Yes, I don't remember off hand but I read that it is safe even if it increases creatine. Do you know which are the more reliable tests for kidney disease? Is it cystatin? I definitely have to do something to lower my homocysteine. I used to have it a 8 without any supplements, but w...

Hi Jafa: Let me know if your Ophthalmologist answers that question and please share if you learn something new in your next appointment.

Re: Bredesen and de la Torre (and G-L) divergence

Thanks Jafa: I had a good laugh with the description of your provider. It's actually sad, isn't it. I She sounds awful and condescending. It is so hard to get straight answers. I have a wonderful doctor, he just didn't explain if I actually have glaucoma or if it's something we are trying to avoid. ...

Re: Bredesen and de la Torre (and G-L) divergence

Perhaps that is the reason for the ApoE4 /normal tension Glaucoma link. My optic nerves are suspicious for Glaucoma with areas of thinning. I’m onboard with you Julie regarding exercise. I recently purchased a minitramp which I keep in the bedroom and have been bouncing for 5-10 minutes as soon as ...

Re: Liposomal and phospholipid supplements, a caution for some?

The thing is that if these supps work synergistically, then maybe I'm just wasting time and money when I cannot do one of two like in the case of PC and creatine. They aren't synergistic, but a way to reduce the amount of methyl groups your body needs to use. The idea is that if you don't have to s...
