actually *slab* sounds like a big piece of chocolate; I actually eat one square of dark chocolate with my daily coffee. I went back and double-checked my notes (I took notes on the herbs that I tried). I tried double-dosage since Ashwaganda wasn't having any effect, and stopped bc I was getting bad dreams. That, and any L-tryptophan-related herbs (e.g. 5-HTP especially!) give me bad dreams.

I took the recommended dosage of Ashwaganda from Dr. Bredesen's book till I ran out, and I couldn't really tell if it helped with stress/anxiety nor mental acuity. I'm 49 y.o. and maybe flow has gotten less heavy (I have heavy periods) but I don't believe I've entered menopause yet.

I use Abbott Precision. Everyone seems to say that Keto Mojo strips are cheaper, but I don't see that or understand. You can get strips on amazon or ebay at $1.00/ea or less.
