Re: Ideal post-menopausal estrogen level?

Latest update on my patch journey: Brief recap....I hit menopause last August when I turned 51 years.... 5 months on compounding cream during the Fall of 2015 resulted in declining estradiol levels until it hit undetectable. Began estradiol patch/oral progesterone Feb 2016....testing after 6 weeks r...

Re: No vegans on this forum?

Hi Viktor! I am a 4/4, female, 51 yrs. I am lacto-ovo vegetarian, but I'm mindful of my sat fat intake. My biomarkers are decent, in my opinion. There is one member here I can think of who is vegan. His user name is James and he's a 4/4. Here is a thread he posted a while back on his lipid profile: ...

Re: game Sea Hero Quest

I played a few games a couple of weeks ago and then got busy with other "fun" things lol. It was very easy at first but I'm sure it gets more challenging. As I played I was thinking the creators/researchers behind the endeavor would probably like to tap into our community.

Re: A Close Call

John, thanks for the video, I plan to watch it this week. Katie, I wondered about the EPA vs DHA, because I think I read that somewhere too. Stavia, yes, weirdly enough he doesn't like fish (like me), but I'm going to work on that with him. I just feel lost with this strange "3/3" body typ...

A Close Call

I debated posting this, but what the hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. My 3/3 husband received a stent yesterday. He had a 95% blockage of the "widowmaker" artery. It blew my mind and put me in a bit of an emotional tailspin. He just turned 60 a couple of weeks ago; he's thin, lifelon...

Re: Newbie, not shocked, but shocked

Welcome Sunny! I'm Silverlining, I'd think we'd get along great and laugh ourselves all the way to the funny farm!! In all seriousness, eat a ton of potato chips with the broccoli, it'll make the green stuff go down easier....ok ok, big breath, wipe the smile off my face... I'm glad you found us, ho...

Re: Hello there

Grommet, my dad is doing very well, in my opinion. He travels frequently both internationally and domestically, he exercises (treadmill, biking, racquetball) regularly, is mindful of carb intake and the quality of carbs he does eat and his mental outlook is very easy going, non neurotic, which I thi...

Re: Hello there

Welcome grommet! I'm 51yr 4/4 female and shortly thereafter we discovered my father 75yr is also 4/4. So shocking! I can relate to the distress. It's a different twist from your situation but still upsetting when we found out. So neither you nor your has high ldl? If so, that's good news! Glad to ha...
