Re: Not doing too well....

Well, we're a bit of a mess. GB, great news on the clear MRI scan. I understand your frustration with the doctors, I've been there and am still there :). Re: the Zoloft, are there worries about raising the serotonin and then maybe dramatically dropping when you stop taking it? My last piece of advic...

Re: Best type of exercise for ε4s

I played an intense game of racquetball yesterday and didn't sleep well for soreness all night, but man did it feel good at the time...love going full steam sometimes. I've been playing RB for over 15 years and it is hands down my favorite exercise; actually the ONLY exercise I truly enjoy. I play o...

Re: Not doing too well....

Wow...I've been REALLY challenged on my silverlining theories! I've gone through a pretty rough few weeks with heavy stress involving close family members. Add to that a connective tissue disorder and whacked out hormone fluctuations (age 49) equals some days in bed for me and a pretty bleak mood. I...

Re: Not doing too well....

Hey friends...the storm is still raging around me, but I'm righting my own personal ship, which can seem selfish; however so many inner circle family members rely on me for emotional and physical support, that it's okay to get "me" right. Thanks so much! GB..I didn't know about the avocado...

Re: The Voice

Oh my goodness LOL...the Voice is my FAVORITE, actually it is the only show I watch weekly, other than football with my hubby. It truly is therapy for me...every show I receive so much pleasure from the contestants, their backstories, their hopes and dreams and the coaches are so entertaining as wel...

Re: Not doing too well....

Thanks lol, these past few days have been very dark for me and I admit I'm struggling. BUT, I'm trying all my little tricks...listening to really great music, truly seeking joy somehow, some way in every day no matter how sorrowful I feel. Self talk is another biggie and last, quietly resting in my ...

Re: Mmm Hmmm..

I KNEW you would fall Ski! lol. No stones thrown here, chocolate ice cream in my freezer lasts about as long as an icicle in July and we won't even mention hash brown casserole which is like my number one, top favorite food ever; I'm a sicko I know!!! Here is the absolutely hilarious (yet truly sad)...

Re: Julie's Lipid Results

Julie...I think your test results look awesome as well, knowing the LDL-P is controversial. Excellent insulin resistance score. I hope you're proud of your hard work, discipline and commitment, because you should be! Did the lab include results for ApO-A and ApO-B and Lp(a)? I've seen on other sites...

Re: Not doing too well....

Hey GB! Tremendous stress here as well with my own health issues and serious health issues in all three children AND my mother. So, I totally get you. I hope there is a good friend or relative in your life to give you a patient listening ear, vocal support and a strong shoulder to lean on plus a big...
