Re: Glucose Ketone Index

How I came to know about the GKI was a few years ago through Dr Thomas Seyfried. If he didn't coin the term, I think he was the one who made it popular. He's a cancer researcher from Boston College so his primary focus is as a tool for cancer. Many cancers love glucose and restricting glucose as a s...

Re: exposure to black mould.

Mold in and of itself does not cause AD, but it is inflammatory, it is damaging, and it can cause serious brain fog. I am fortunate that I am not one that is dealing with heavy mold exposure and toxicity, so this is not an area of expertise for me, but from my readings, I understand that the Impact ...

And having more success with incorporating small changes one at a time to mount up to a big improved overall lifestyle. Great news, so happy for you! By the way, yesterday I listened to a podcast where Peter Attia interviewed Jason Fung. I was hesitant about listening to it at first because I've he...

Re: emerging from lurking

I'm dealing with a large fibroid tumor. I'm in my early 50s and still cycling. I've seen a couple of things on line (sorry not going to excavate them right now) making the claim that women with apoe4 seem to have more problems with fibroids than other women. How do you evaluate this claim? It would...

I think you are referring to “Neural Agility.” It is one of 6 audio tracks that you can order from RevitaMind here: https://www.activemindsglobal.com/products/revita-mind/

Re: Results after 16 Months Carnivore - Good, Bad, Ugly

As far as gut diversity goes, there's this plus a few others I've seen privately in chat groups. So that's not a concern really. https://twitter.com/admandv/status/1095 ... 92352?s=19 Hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but a couple years ago after getting our microbiomes analyzed with an at home test k...

Re: Results after 16 Months Carnivore - Good, Bad, Ugly

BTL-34, Thank you for sharing. I have to admit a 40% progression in your CAC scan is very concerning. While I know many folks both who cite praises of a carnivore diet, one of the things that concerns me, and I don't think there’s enough evidence yet to pass full judgement on this, is the effect on ...

Re: using mct to achieve mild ketosis

But I can't find any specifics as to how to do this. How much MCT? When do I take it? (when breaking a fast or later in the day?)) You might want to read the wiki article Coconut Oil, MCT oil, and other Ketone/Cognition Boosters (salts, esters) as recommended above. Regarding MCT oil it says, "...

Re: Non-Bluetooth Sleep Trackers

I hope Oura will come out with a minipetite version for my little fingers. Some say that bands around one's wrist (along with tight bras, waistbands and the like) impede lymph flow. Don't know how big of a potential issue that is, but I'm all about lymph :D They do have quite a few different sizes....
