Re: A provocative critique of Banner's 4/4 RCT

Thank you for that information. The second link (Neuron) led me to two other papers referencing that one. All of it is very helpful.

Re: A provocative critique of Banner's 4/4 RCT

I really appreciate your reply, @NF52. I always read your posts on this forum carefully. But I'm still not following the logic (not just yours but Generation's). To wildly oversimplify, I'll use an analogy that beta amyloid plaque is a scab on the brain. 200 prior studies tried to pick it off or dis...

Re: A provocative critique of Banner's 4/4 RCT

I'm about to join the Generation 2 study, but the more I learn the more I wonder if I should. I hear more and more that hyperinsulinemia is likely to be the underlying cause, and that beta amyloid plaques are likely a defense mechanism of the brain, protective rather than harmful, effect rather than...

Re: Indianapolis area meetup

IndyWoman is working with me on this, so she'll help with decisions like this. My bias is to post the meeting time etc. here when it's established. But if you want to participate in the "negotiation" about when and where and so forth, that may be on a long email thread between now and then...

It seems we have several people, and this first meeting will likely be face to face and informal. I'm the newbie here and I suspect that all of you are far ahead of me. Thanks ...

Re: Video access to Denver Low Carb Conference, March 8 – 10, 2019

I plan to buy the streaming method, especially now that you have posted the speaker list. I've watched the videos from Low Carb Houston 2018 that have been posted on YouTube, some only last month, and I highly recommend them.
Thanks for posting this event.

Re: RE: Re: Indianapolis area meetup

Hi DaleBru and welcome! You will find a lot of great support here. Thanks for proposing a meet-up! I am just wondering if you are thinking of an in-person meet-up or a virtual one using Zoom. We have a Zoom subscription and can fairly easily arrange virtual face-to-face meet-ups as well. I wasn't c...
