Re: Another newbie

Welcome WenRay,
I'm so glad you found us. As E4's we so much appreciate the friend's and family members who are caring for their loved ones. As Stavia says there are many health improving things you can do without the tests.

Re: Stavia's report on our meetup in San Diego 2017

Stavia, you are a wonder! Your notes are so amazing. My eyes were rolling and my ears drooping from so much information coming at us hour after hour, day after day. I am so impressed what an outstanding job you have done. So much benefit will come from our having your notes. Many thanks. Starfish

Re: Introduction of new member

Welcome PBW. I'm an 80 year old female 4/4. You are so far ahead with your 16 years of research into AD and your diet and exercise program as well as the 12-16 hour fasting. You are a good researcher to have put this together over the years. The even bigger plus is that having discovered it, you act...

Re: new to this group, E4/E4

Welcome Elizabeth, I too am an E/4 E/4 interested in genealogy. I'm 80 years old. Your mother and grandmother's good mental functioning to such advanced ages is impressive. How fortunate you were eating lots of nuts, olive oil and fiber. You are already doing so many things from the Bredesen protoco...

Re: Bredesen's Book is available in BOOKSTORES and online!

Welcome Sunshine_girl. How great you've been following Dr. Bredesen's protocol and feel significantly better. We'd love to know more about your experience with it. I'm pleased you found us through his book. I love the book too. He has such a gift for communicating scientific information in words tha...

Re: Long-time follower, intro

Hello Brian4, welcome. It is good that you are interested in learning more about prevention and treatment for not only yourself, but your family. Sometimes we can lead by example to those around us. Since I've been in the group and my diet has changed, family members have taken notice of my health i...

Re: Just turned 38 today - Need to know how to reduce my risk

Hello Sparrow, welcome. I think many of us have come by our APOE4 status inadvertently. I had signed up on 23andme for genealogy purposes. I joined the group over three years ago. I'm a 4/4 female age 80. It is hard dealing with a number of issues at the same time. You are wise to get some perspecti...

Re: Greetings from Mexico

Hello Vermillion, good for you with your BMI of 23, healthful diet and voluntary exercise. You are so fortunate to be doing so many beneficial things already. Gratitude and good family relationships, that you mentioned, are all things that keep us in better health. It is encouraging that your choles...
