I'm AG. I'm hoping there is some other reason why half don't get Alzheimer's ;) . I think it was on a thread a couple of weeks ago, there's a couple of others who are AG

Looks like AA is most common, I'm AG :? . I was looking around the internet last night and saw that HLA-A2 may be associated. I can't work out the snp to look up though, does anyone know?

I wonder if the people who do want to look would be willing to share their results so we can find out how common it is to have the increased risk or protective versions. I can't see any reference to frequency in the paper? (I might just be missing it as it's a complicated one!). I've got rs1917011 n...

I just wanted to say hi as I'm fairly new (found out I was 4/4 in June) and am around the same age as you (35 with a 2 year old son). It's such a horrible feeling when you get the results. Thanks Julie, it looks as if ones below the line actually give some protection? Very interesting information about the possible treatments, I'll have to read that more closely, I just jumped straight on the snps!
