Re: Would an allele that reduced lipoprotein(a) modify apoe4?

Bear with me. I'm still really new to all this research so there might be gaping holes in my theory. I know nothing is really certain but if the problem with apoe4 were because it increased the level of Lp(a), would snps that reduced your levels of Lp(a) then reduce your Alzheimer's risk in theory?...

Re: Optically improved mitochondrial function redeems aged human visual decline

Does anyone have a link for the device he used? I was unable to open the paper and when I searched the internet I did not find a device meant to be looked at. Re: Using RAPA for AD prevention

I am taking Fisetin every 4-5 weeks for 2 days in a row, 1500 mg. This is the protocol for the human trial Mayo used. Dr. Green did his own calculations and came out with the same conclusion. Are there any results from the Mayo Clinic human trial? All I can find is results of one of their dasatinib...

Re: Biogen stock up 10% for Alzheimer's drug

That is wonderful news! My mother is 4/4 and she told me that she had been diagnosed with MCI. Hopefully this will help her at some point soon. Is there anyway to become a trial participant? Sorry to be late to trying to answer your great question, Vikingman. Here's what I know: 1. Right now, only ...

Re: MRI Results

Hi there! I was hoping somebody with a medical background could help me interpret my neurologists report. I had a brain MRI last week and won’t be able to see her for a few weeks. I’m freaking out a bit based on her impressions. I’ve attached the report to this post as it’s difficult to type the wh...

... When I began my quest to get tests and an analysis to determine where we should look by priority as the source or cause of my wife's cognitive symptoms, I contacted Apollo... Since last September, I have located a local Doctor's Group, and found a Doctor for my wife. Most but not all of the tes...

Re: Recommended Blood Tests

I have an appointment with my new general practitioner in 10 days and want to present him with a list of blood work I am requesting to detect which of the 36 holes in the roof I need to patch. The Bredesen book goes into daunting detail but I have not been able to find a simple, unadorned list of b...
