Re: Alzheimer's and "Death with Dignity"
In addition to the tragedy of the disease, the horror of the situation is compounded by the fact that you must make a decision about your future, BEFORE you know which path your AD will take. If not, the decision is removed from you and your family.

Re: Alzheimer's and "Death with Dignity"
Thanks, so much, Fc1345linville. I find the link comforting. While I am only 52, with no cognitive decline at this point, it worries me. (As can be anticipated, as I also have the "worrier" gene. LOL). I am currently working into the recommended protocols, and had already lived a relativel...

Re: AWAKENING FROM ALZHEIMER'S - THE AWAKENING BEGINS.
Hey, thanks for letting us all know about this series. I really enjoyed a few of them. :) First: Stavia, you are a saint! Thanks so much for outlining these for us. Most of the time, I listed to them while out walking or cooking. So, I couldn't take notes. (And, then there were the ones I just found...

Re: Thyroid Nodules
Circular. I have also been dealing with thyroid nodules since 2012. I want to encourage you with the iodine supplementation, as I have had good results. I take Go Nutrients Transformative Nanocolloidal Elemental Nascent Iodine . I went to an Elemental Nascent Iodine because I have an iodine allergy....

Re: Vegan Newbie, Accidental 4/4 discovery, Terrified
I'm English though so didn't get the 'south' joke probably as well as I should!!Gx Sorry about that. The South is stereotyped for its religiosity, obesity, lack of education, and meat eating – particularly fried foods (such as fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and fried potatoes) and BBQ. Sent fr...

Re: an E4/E4 brain CAN recover
You are amazing! And quite the success story. As you know, this has been an adjustment for me. My 4/4-status-discovery-funk was further enhanced by finding out about the "secret" dementia in my grandparents. Arg. Add that to the fact that I have had 3 concussions, 1 with 48-72 hours of amn...

Re: New Member Introduction ......
Hello, Bret! Nice to see you here. I have been on a few months. I strongly agree with the "one day at a time" concept. I do what I can, when I can. When I first found out, I literally wore myself out trying to read everything. Not much of it stuck, as a result. Additionally, I added to my ...
