Thats about 30 to 50% of calories from protein looking across the scale from small women to larger men. 180 grams of protein a day. Far more than is necessary for say a 70kg woman. Maybe necessary for a very active and muscular 90kg man. I personally wouldnt eat that amount of animal protein. Sent f...

Yip RJones, the trouble is if you increase your protein to that extent you need to consider Mtor activation.

Phospholipids are molecules with a glycerol backbone, 2 fatty acids; and a phosphate group. DHA and EPA are special kinds of fatty acids (omega 3s). Whatnext: I personally do not prescribe statins in a woman who has not had a previous heart attack but with a slightly high TC without evidence such as a coronary calcium scan or angiogram.

Plumster, that one has a very tiny dose of 1mg a day. Dr Goodenowe emailed me and Julie to say that in his opinion, both doses are too low. He said: "We expect the long-term prevention dose in humans to be between 500-1000mg/day." He will hopefully respond himself in this thread. Sent from...
